Department of School Education, Haryana has released a notification for admission in Class 6th to 12th under Haryana Cheerag Scheme in Private Schools for the academic year 2026. Eligible candidates can apply offline for this scheme from 13.03.2026 to 30.03.2026. Selection will be done through a lucky draw process, and selected students will get free education in private schools.
हरियाणा स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग ने हरियाणा चिराग योजना 2026 के तहत प्राइवेट स्कूलों में कक्षा 6वीं से 12वीं तक एडमिशन के लिए नोटिफिकेशन जारी किया है। योग्य छात्र 13.03.2026 से 30.03.2026 तक ऑफलाइन आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

- Application Closure Date: 30.03.2026 (Upto 02:00 P.M)
- Date of Lucky Draw: 01.04.2026 to 05.04.2026
- Admission in Schools (First List): 01.04.2026 to 15.04.2026
- Admission on Waiting Seats (Second List): 16.04.2026 to 30.04.2026
Application Fee
- There is no online application fees for this scheme.
Age Limit
- As per notification (Age limit for admission to specific classes).
Vacancy Details & Eligibility
- Name of the Classes: 6th to 12th
- Family Income: Applicant’s family income must be less than or equal to Rs. 8,00,000/- (Eight Lakhs).
- Previous Education: Applicant must have received or passed their education from Government Schools in the previous academic year.
- Residence: Haryana Resident Certificate is mandatory for the applicant.
- Economic Status: Only economically weaker students are eligible for this scheme.
- School Allotment: The private school will be allotted in the same block where the student resides.
Selection Process
The selection for admission in Class 6th to 12th under Haryana Cheerag Scheme 2026 in Private Schools will be based on the following:
- Family Annual Income less than or equal to Rs. 8,00,000/- verified in Family ID.
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination.
- Lucky Draw: A lucky draw will be conducted from 01.04.2026 to 05.04.2026. Admission will be offered to students whose names are selected in the draw.

- EWS Certificate
- Income Certificate (If Applicable)
